This Privacy Policy explains how we handle data in our Employee Attendance Application ("the App"), which uses facial recognition for attendance marking. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring transparency in how the App operates.
2. Data Collection & Usage
The App does not collect, store, or process any personal employee data outside of attendance verification. The attendance system works as follows:
? Facial Recognition Attendance:
1. Employees must first register their face in the company?s ERP system.
2. The App only accesses the facial data stored in the ERP when verifying attendance.
3. No facial data is stored within the App.
? Attendance Process:
1. The employee clicks the attendance button on the App?s homepage.
2. The App checks if:
? The employee?s face is registered in the ERP.
? The device is connected to the company?s designated WiFi (using WiFi & Network permissions).
3. If conditions are met, the camera opens to capture an image (Camera permission).
4. The image is matched against the ERP-stored data in real time.
5. If matched ? Attendance is marked as successful.
6. If not matched ? Employee can retake the image.
? No Additional Data Stored:
1. No biometric data is saved on the device or App.
2. No attendance logs are stored in the App (all records go to the ERP).
3. Permissions Required & Why
The App requests the following permissions for functionality:

To check if the device is connected to the company WiFi.
CHANGE_WIFI_STATE
To ensure proper WiFi connectivity for attendance marking.
ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE
To verify internet connectivity for ERP communication.
INTERNET
To connect with the company ERP system for verification.
ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION / ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION
Optional: Used only if the company requires location-based attendance (e.g., geofencing). If enabled, location is used to confirm the employee is on-site.
Note:
? Location permissions are optional and only used if the company enforces location-based attendance.
? No GPS or location data is stored?only used for real-time verification.
4. Data Security
? All facial matching happens in real time; no images are saved locally.
? The ERP system (not the App) manages and secures employee data.
? The App does not transmit any facial data outside the company?s ERP.
5. Employee Rights
Since the App does not store any personal data, employees must contact the company?s HR/IT department for:
? Updating/deleting their facial data (managed in the ERP).
? Attendance record requests.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as needed. Employees will be notified of significant changes.
